Discussion Title: Helping those in a cause is more impactful than prioritizing those outside it. 1. Helping those in a cause is more impactful than with those outside it. 1.1. Con: When there's a disproportionately large amount of individuals outside of a cause than in it, gaining more people would be easier by focusing on those external to it. 1.2. Pro: Those outside of the cause might bring in their culture that potentially involves goes against or is not part of the cause in, thereby disenfranchising those in it and even possibly causing it to lose momentum if not fail. 1.3. Pro: Those outside of a cause coming in may be less attached than those already in it, and may even convince those inside of the cause to leave it too. 1.4. Pro: Helping those in a cause would lead them to feel empowered enough to engage others in it. This is less work than starting the focus on outside individuals first. 1.5. Pro: Those who succeed inside a cause will inspire others around them to join in. 1.6. Con: If people don't know much about a cause outside of those in it, then misconceptions can form that may get in the way of a cause succeeding, whether it's a good one or not. 1.6.1. Con: You can give more attention to people in a cause and still give information and teach people outside the cause about what you are defending.
