If you resort to violence - it means you're in a state of weakness. Hurting others isn't going to make you any stronger - it's not actually tackling the vulnerabilities that one has that can be exploited. If you don't make yourself invincible to be being susceptible to others - you're doing something wrong already by taking it out on others for that. Instead of trying to 'get at others for exposing one's weakness', be a stronger person by working on bettering oneself to not let that happen. Otherwise the only one that can be blamed is you.
It takes strength to be the bigger person (focusing on moving past individual differences to see the bigger picture), rising above to be a leader in helping everyone to the right direction (which is fixing the situation), regardless of how the present is (i.e. - how others and ourselves act). It's easy being weak - focusing (nay obsessing) on what others do just to find some mistake they make to justify destroying them instead of correcting one's own inadequacies (as guess who makes mistakes too?), instead of helping them be better (to be stronger together). We're all human, so let's act like one by showing our humanity (while being aware of problems to keep them in check, not letting kindness be taken for weakness, only giving respect when it's deserved).
