how I started walking in 3 days
I had 2 implants where they shaved off the bone and had implants put in place to keep it from growing more into my nerves. The doctor said it would take 2 weeks to be in crutches. I walked in 3 days. I also had little to no pain - I took no pain pills. My feet felt normal, maybe better than normal - maybe a little hurt here and there.
What I did was:
I avoided:
What I did was:
- lay on my stomach
- put my feet into the air - so they don't have gravity pulling everything onto them - no weight and let all the immune system drain properly (as it creates a mess that gets in the way of healing)
- have all the weight go to my knee
- if my knee filled with immune system gunk, I'd shake my knee out
- sometimes move the foot back and forth - for circulation - to bring some circulation in when down and keep it there or release when up
I avoided:
- having my feet facing down
- otherwise it would
- hit the ground, which hurts, especially when changing clothes
- have a lack of circulation - gravity would weigh all the body's fluids on it and it wouldn't be able to fight removal of fluid to circulate for healing
- otherwise it would
- bumping my foot into anything - that hurt my nerves a lot
