trash cleanup - maximize
Ideal
make your time worthwhile (hope you take a snapshot, I know I will). You want it to be where you can make money, reuse, and be happy - so that the stuff you find goes from nothing to something really valuable - to yourself and others. You'll really be surprised how much useful stuff people abandon and throw away. Really good stuff like expensive shoes, shirts, etc.

- separate the recyclables - plastic, metal, battery, and ewaste (research these centers before you head out on your cleanup). You might be able to make enough money to cover your expenses!!!!!!
- find stuff you can use in your life - like trash bags, gloves , etc (no need to buy fresh trash bags, you'll likely find them there. If you are likely to not find anything there - come with bags that you can find in a bag recycling station or ask on apps like nextdoor. Plenty of people want to give them away)
- find stuff you can make and give away or sell. Repair if needed. An example is I usually didn't want shirts I found - because I don't need more shirts. However, I was able to give them out to the homeless
- create a pile of usable items where you live, so if someone needs and asks you for something, you can give it to them
- look for money on the ground to pay for your expenses
- anything you can't use or give away - donate (if they accept it)
- look on 5-minute crafts and similar videos to find ways to turn trash into treasure
- have fun - if you go someplace - turn it into a vacation, so it doesn't feel like work and so you don't have to spend money to travel there.
- write on a website what you find, are frustrated with, and hope to see change
- use what you find as time and knowledge to try to improve ways of not generating trash and making the most of what you have around you!
- use the time to get errands done - like thinking about the schedule of errands, exercising, etc. (edited)
