what didn't work for me
Note
everyone's different, so some may work for others, but these didn't work for me. I'm putting these out there, because they're treatments that're promoted (or at least when I tried them out) and if they didn't work, it's very likely it might not work for others. Letting others know is being responsible for other's health - especially when something goes wrong and they need alternatives.
Treatments
note - in the past - there's plenty of treatments that were promoted
- these're now mainly debunked by google searches
- of updated info
- but this info may still be in people's heads
- like - mine
- so I'm putting them here

Painkillers
There is no pill for pain |
All pain has a source |
There are no shortcuts in life |
It's better to do the right thing - even if it's hard. |
Painkiller - is a marketing tactic to sell pills to people for their 'pain' - when the reality is while it might help - it doesn't actually get rid of the pain. Pharmacies just want to take your money - rather than help you out. That's all they care about in the end - is profiting off of misery. [(no misery = no $)]
The real treatment for pain is prevention - because pain is a symptom, not a disease. Only diseases can be treated.
It's important to tackle pain at the source - even though it's the hard way - it's the right thing to do. We can see from the opioid epidemic first-hand the consequences of using painkillers as a shortcut to removing pain. I told people for a long time not to use painkillers to stop pain - no one cared or listened. They said too bad - you're a no one. Now I had to tell my city the truth - and they had to listen. Now everyone has to listen - after they failed.

Pap smears should be avoided, as they can be really pointless
Reasons why:
Main: The pap smear can actually cause the same cervical cancer it's trying to prevent.
When you are celibate your entire life, the risk of getting cervical cancer is close to 0. The only chance of getting the disease is if you're in a relationship and you put items (mainly toys) inside your female reproductive parts, and it would lead to only one type of cervical cancer, so the risk then is extremely low. This is what my doctor explained to me, only after they tried to give me a pap smear, not before. This means the risks of the pap smear are much greater than the disease. It also means that anything done can increase the risk of getting the disease, because of potential damage. This takes a 0% chance to something higher than 0. This is why people who are celibate shouldn't get the procedure.
Another issue with the pap smear and celibacy, is the amount of lubrication that the doctor needs to use to get the pap smear will invalidate the results, because it gets in the way of viewing any cells and collecting them. This means that if you're celibate, the procedure won't even work, as the doctor can't tell you have any disease, even if you do.
Finally, the number of times that the procedure's done is so much work that it can take away from people being proactive. This can cause a person to do risky activity without paying attention or tending to it, so they may put themselves at more risk of getting the disease all in the name of 'preventing' it.
Misinformation:
Everyone needs to realize that a pap smear isn't a swab, but 3 surgical procedures: physically cutting the hymen and 2 biopsies at the cervix. At the end, they (i.e. the doctors) do nothing to fix the damage they cause. This leads to permanent, irreversible damage that is not explained beforehand ever - on the internet or at the doctor's office. I didn't know this beforehand, and thought it was just a swab with something similar to a Q-tip, but since it's not, I'd like to let others know in case they're like me.
The medical field tells women to get pap smears when they are 21 years old, regardless of their celibacy status. This is not true and I highly recommend people who are celibate and have avoided putting items inside their reproductive parts to not get a pap smear. For everyone else, if it's possible, it's best to avoid placing anything inside one's female reproductive parts (including tampons), than risk getting a pap smear. Even if you're going to do that, hesitate before getting one by reading this.
Procedure process:
First, the process doesn't even start at the procedure, but before, where they recommend putting your fingers inside of your vagina, adding fingers one by one, to widen your vagina to make it possible and easier for the procedure to get done. This is the first place that the procedure goes wrong, because that is unsanitary to do, as your fingers can 1) cause damage, 2) infect the area, 3) expose the vagina to air, which also can not only exposes the area to microbes in the air, but also dry out the vagina to keep it from protecting itself.
Next the pap smear involves using really cold metal objects that are extremely painful, because it feels like it splits your body in half. This caused me to scream in pain the entire time, and I tried not to, but couldn't avoid it. They also don't use any lubrication, because then it'll mess up the results. However, since they can't get the tube up, they have to use lubrication, which, as I said earlier, invalidates the results.
After, they physically cut your hymen. They don't ask you if that's ok, but just do it without your permission. This is purely unacceptable. They also say the pain goes away, but years later I still have pain in that area, and that pain is now spreading to my leg and abdomen. If you were celibate because of not being ready for a relationship, now you'll end up an incel (involuntary celibate), because you physically are in too much pain to do anything. This is the first procedure. Not only is it painful, but it causes physical damage. Physical damage actually increases your risk of cancer, so the
The next procedure is where they reach your cervix. They take something like a mascara brush to scrape at the cervix. If anyone knows what a brush like that is like, there's two pointy metal tips at the top - they use that part. Then they use the rest of the brush to scrape.
Then they use cutters to cut out a biopsy. All this they say they're doing, but when you say no, you can't get out of it, they tell you, because the process is already in motion.
---------------
In the end, they'll say the results are inconclusive to finding anything, due to too much lubrication. This is why the whole ruining of your body and life aren't worth it. After the procedure, I couldn't stand up correctly, as the hymen that kept my body together broke, and now everything is in the middle of my body, which causes it to sulk. I had to wear a lot of girdle braces and do many exercises that risked my health just to get my body back to the way it was, and now I have the opposite problem where I pressed too hard my hips to fix this and now my hips are out of balance. Now my body's damaged beyond repair from just trying to fix the issues caused by the pap smear. So the damage continues to pile up, even after the procedure's done.
The 2nd time I tried to get a pap smear, my was vagina closed up, due to the stress and pain from the last one - and likely all the swelling the last one caused - even though it was over a year later, so they couldn't do anything. This made the 2nd pap smear even more pointless, as they couldn't even do it. That's even more of a reason why people shouldn't waste their time even going to the doctor's for a pap smear - as they might not even be able to start it to begin with.
In all, if you can avoid a pap smear and the risk of getting the disease is too low to be worth the effort, don't do it. Save your effort, your health, time, and worry for something that won't happen.
I'm not saying no one should get a pap smear. Those who are a high risk of getting cancer that do have lots of sex and have a vagina that can handle a pap smear, are young where their life can get cut short too soon, and can catch cervical cancer early should by all means have one. For the rest of the population, they shouldn't and pap smears shouldn't be pushed on them - this is the problem that the medical community doesn't talk about, but should and avoid recommending to.
The worst part about all this, is that if people have pointless and bad experiences, it can invalidate those who actually need a pap smear to begin with. If people who don't need a pap smear avoid getting one, then they can actually save the lives of those who actually need it by increasing the percentage of times the pap smear actually finds anything by making sure only those who need it actually do it, be found some issue, and receive the treatment for it.
